Library Giving Day is April 1, 2026. Communities across the country will come together to support their local libraries, and Northeast Kansas is part of that effort.

From March 30 through April 3, gifts made to participating public libraries in Northeast Kansas will be eligible for dollar-for-dollar matching through the Northeast Kansas Library System, up to $1,000 per library. The total match pool for 2026 is $20,000.

Your gift helps sustain early literacy programs, workforce and technology access, lifelong learning opportunities, and spaces that connect our communities.

To participate, click the “Give Now” button, select your local library from the dropdown menu, and make your gift during the match window. All donations through the Northeast Kansas Library Foundation are tax-deductible and will be designated to the library you choose.

Library Giving Day is an opportunity to strengthen your local library and expand what it can offer your community. Thank you for your support and for being part of this regional effort!
