On Library Giving Day, everyone across the country, including in Northeast Kansas, will come together in an incredible movement to strengthen and support the local libraries that have worked harder than ever to advance literacy, knowledge and learning this year.
NEKLS is excited to announce that in celebration of this special event, we will MATCH gifts made to a public library in the Northeast Kansas region – dollar-for-dollar, up to a possible $500 per library, with a maximum of $10,000 for the initiative.
Please note the following parameters for the Library Giving Day match:
- Donations must be made through the Give Now link above. Simply choose the library you want to support on the drop-down menu.
- Gifts will be matched during this time frame only:
- Monday, March 31st, 7 AM —Tuesday, April 1st, 11:59 PM, CT
- Each library is eligible for up to $500 in matching funds.
- The maximum amount of matching funds available is $10,000 total and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
- Gifts will be tracked through a date and time stamp on the donation portal.
